By Flight : Druk Air, Bhutan's airline, operates flights to Paro from Bangkok, Calcutta, Dhaka, Kathmandu and New Delhi. By Road : There are two overland entry/exit points. One is from the Siliguri, Indian state of West Bengal into Phuntsholing in southwest Bhutan. Phuntsholing is four hour's drive from Bagdodra, the nearest Indian airport, and seven hours' drive from both Gangtok(Sikkim) and Darjeeling. The drive from Phuntsholing to Thimpu takes six hours. The other point is Samdrup Jongkhar in the southeast, 110 km from Guwahati, India. An Inner Line Permit to enter Assam will also be required to enter/exit through Guwahati. Trashigang is six hours' drive from Samdrup Jongkhar. |

VISA & PERMITS |

Visa for Bhutan must be cleared via Bhutanese Tourism Authorities at least a month in advance. 2 passport size photographs and photo copy of passport with all details also must be submitted. Actual visa will be issued upon arrival in Paro Airport. Individual tourist visa for two weeks cost US$ 20.00 .extensions can be done at an additional cost of US$ 20.00 |

However ,all programmes are conducted strictly in Bhutan under the rules and regulations of the Bhutan Tourism Authority. Therefore Siniolchu Travels or its counterparts in Bhutan shall not be responsible for any change and alterations in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as landslides, road blockages, flood, snow, political unrest , cancellation of Flight, delay arrival ,sickness or accidents. Any costs incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spot .It is most advisable all clients to have insurance against medical and personal accidents .A cancellation insurance is also advised.
